Strieber also touched on Roswell, UFO activity in Iran, alien abductee Jim Sparks, and computer hacker Gary McKinnon, who Strieber said found what appeared to a list of names of extraterrestrial craft after breaking into US government computer systems. Nick Pope, who used to run the British Government’s UFO Project, joined Art for the remainder of the program for a discussion about the current state of ufology and various UFO cases that he has studied. Pope shared his thoughts about the Rendlesham Forest Incident from December 1980. He said UK and US researchers are now wondering why General Gabriel, Commander-in-Chief of the United States Air Forces in Europe, visited Bentwaters shortly after the Rendlesham event. Gabriel may have taken documents pertaining to the incident, Pope speculated.
