So the ancients knew Christ would be born in a certain year and we would number our years from his birth and knew when, as a result, the year corresponding with the designation 2012 would occur. Sure.

Possibly things could change, a new revoulution, new animals maybe even the gods will visit us to make it clear on which religions are accurate and tell us how it all happened from the beggining.
